
Four Arrested in Henderson County Drive-By Shooting
Henderson County -- A follow-up on the drive-by shooting that took place in the River Stone neighborhood of Fletcher on March 19, 2025, is being released by the Henderson County Sheriff's Office.
Four suspects were found after a thorough investigation by the CID Major Crimes Unit – Violent Crimes.
The Henderson County Grand Jury heard the case on May 19, 2025, and indicted all four of the defendants in relation to the shooting.
• Daniel Ingle, age 23, of Asheville, is currently incarcerated in the North Carolina Department of Corrections on unrelated charges. A hold has been placed for transfer to Henderson County custody.
• Ethan Scott, age 19, of Alexander, was arrested without incident and has since been released on a $25,000 secured bond.
• Two juveniles, both age 17 at the time of the incident, have also been arrested and subsequently released in accordance with juvenile justice procedures.
