Rutherford County --  While on patrol yesterday, deputies from the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, Road Patrol Division, and North Carolina State Highway Patrol stopped a car near Harris Henrietta Road and Old Henrietta Road.

The traffic stop led to an investigation in which 16.6 grams of methamphetamine was seized, along with various items of drug paraphernalia.

As a result, Brittney Lynn Lawing, 34, of Gaffney was arrested and charged with the following:
PWIMSD Methamphetamine
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Citation for Fail to Wear Seat Belt and No Operators License
Brittney was given a $15,000 secure bond.
Crystal Jeanette Wyatt, 46, of Chesnee was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Crystal was given a written promise to appear in court.
