
Repeat Offender Arrested by Asheville Police
Asheville -- On Tuesday night, a guy with many outstanding warrants was apprehended by Asheville police officers stealing goods from an east Asheville store.
At approximately six o'clock on May 20th, officers were called to a business on Bleachery Boulevard that had been reported robbed. Officers found a suspect who met the description given by store employees in possession of a stolen item upon arrival; this person was later identified as Trace Donovan Kirkland (02/15/1991).
During the course of the inquiry, Kirkland was arrested after it was discovered that he had numerous outstanding warrants and several additional stolen items.

Kirkland was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $35,000 (or $3,500 to a bondsman) secured bond issued by a magistrate.
