Four People Arrested on Multiple Charges in Mitchell County

Mitchell County Sheriff's Office received information on May 2, 2025, regarding potential wanted persons at a home on Emerald Lane in Spruce Pine.  

Two people who were wanted out of Tennessee were found and taken into custody by detectives.  Other others were also detained on felony drug charges as a result of the investigation.

The following were arrested:

Simple Possess Schedule IV (Xanax)
Simple Possess Schedule III (Buprenorphine Hydrochloride)
Possess Drug Paraphernalia

Bond: $40,000

Rebecca Ann Stewart (age 37)
Emeral Lane Spruce Pine 
Possess Methamphetamine 
PWIMSD (Methamphetamine)
Maintain a Dwelling for Controlled Substance

Dyane Anthony (age 38)
Elizabethton Tennessee 
Carrying a Concealed Weapon
