
Man Charged in Asheville DUI, Drug Trafficking, HIt and Run Spree
Asheville -- After several hit-and-runs in downtown and west Asheville on Monday afternoon, Asheville police officers detained a man for driving while intoxicated.
Fortunately, no one was hurt; reports solely indicate property damage.
On March 10th, early in the afternoon, officers responded to multiple complaints of hit-and-runs in downtown Asheville involving a silver Toyota Tacoma. After that, the suspect was seen colliding with cars in west Asheville. Officers found the Tacoma with front-end damage in a Dellwood Street driveway shortly after, at approximately 2:06 p.m., and spoke with Josiah Christian Evan Ligiecki (12/24/1998), who was arrested.
A passenger in the vehicle, Brooklyn Ciara Shook (03/01/1995), who was wanted on open warrants, was also taken into custody.

Wells was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $200,000 (or $20,000 to a bondsman) secured bond issued by a magistrate.
