Buncombe County -- Anthony Azamghavami was taken into custody by Buncombe County Sheriff's Office detectives after he fired rounds inside a house on Somerset Drive in Arden.

Misdemeanor Probation Violation and Discharging a Firearm in an Enclosure to Incite Fear.  He is also accused with possessing a toxic substance, possessing a firearm by felony, and possessing a stolen firearm.  After a pistol discharge was reported inside a house on March 31, the BCSO Criminal Investigations Division started looking into the incident.  

On April 7, there was a second gunshot inside the same house.  The culprit was identified by detectives as Anthony Azamghavami.  On April 8, Azamghavami was taken into custody.

Editor's Note: A  criminal charge is an accusation, by law, a person accused of a crime is innocent until proven in a court of law.
