Update: Bomb Threat Waynesville Walmart Evacuated: All Clear

Waynesville -- Update Waynesville Police Department 2:56 PM All Clear:  Law enforcement and emergency services have cleared Walmart and no threat has been found. Walmart is back open to the public. 

We would like to thank the public for their patience and all law enforcement and emergency services personnel who assisted with this incident.

Waynesville Police Department: Location: Walmart - 135 Town Center Loop This afternoon Law enforcement and emergency services are actively investigating a bomb threat at Walmart again.

As a precaution, evacuations have been implemented, and authorities are working to secure the scene. For your safety, please avoid this area until further notice.
