𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬

Asheville --  Press Release Asheville Police Department: Police arrested a man who discharged a gun outside a west Asheville business early

Thursday morning. Thankfully, no one was injured, and there were no reports of property damage. 

Officers responded to a business near the 300 block of Haywood Road around 1:44 a.m. on April 10th to investigate a report of gun discharge. Upon arrival, the suspect was no longer on scene. Officers canvassed the area and located a shell casing in the street. 

Through the course of the investigation, officers learned that a physical altercation had occurred inside the business prior to the incident. Investigative efforts led officers to identify and locate the suspect, Jonathon Ryan Roberts (03/29/1987), at a nearby residence.
Roberts was taken into custody. During the arrest, he was found to be in possession of a loaded Sig Sauer handgun, 32.01 grams of suspected
Fentanyl, 4.38 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia.

Warrant: 
-Probation Violation
Roberts was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $90,000 (or $9,000 to a bondsman) secured bond issued by a magistrate.
