McDowell County Courthouse Cleared and Open after Bomb Threat
McDowell County -- The Sheriff's Office reported the following Update:The McDowell County Courthouse has been cleared and no threat
was found. The courthouse is now open to the public. Main Street, along with Henderson, Court, and South Garden streets, are also back open.
We appreciate the community’s patience and extend our thanks to all law enforcement and emergency responders for their quick and professional actions during the incident.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into this morning’s reported threat.
