Waynesville Police Search for Driver in Hit-and-Run Fatality
Waynesville -- Press Release Waynesville Police Department: This weekend, early on Saturday morning, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle o
n Brown Ave near Hemlock Street.
Upon being transported to the hospital for treatment, the pedestrian was identified as William Edward Crain, 38. Sadly, today, Mr. Crain passed away due to the injuries sustained during this incident.
The other party involved in this incident left the scene and has not been identified. We are currently seeking any information the public may have about this incident.
