Black Mountain Police: Man Approaches Women and Child in Parking Lot

Black Mountain -- Black Mountain Police posted a warning on Face Book yesterday about an incident in an Ingles parking lot:

We had a woman and child approached by a male at the Ingles around 8:12 pm yesterday on 1/15/2019. The male asked to see her child and when she threatened to call the police he ran off. He is described as a white male, around mid 40's, wearing a red hoodie, black sweatpants, and New England Patriots hat.

Please be aware of your surrounds going to and from your vehicle in large or crowded parking lots. If you observe anything suspicious don't hesitate to call us at 828-419-9350.
