Mill Town Farmers Market 2023 Vendor Applications Now Open!

We’ve got BIG NEWS!

When our market first opened in 2021, we never could have imagined the amount of support and participation that we have received from the community. To allow for the continuation and success of our market, we are making some major changes this year.

The Smathers Farmers & Public Market was a tribute to the original Smathers Market that was open in downtown Canton in the ‘60s. The Smathers family generously supported our vendors for the last two years, helping cultivate community among the people of Canton through food, farms, and artisans. As our market continues to grow, we are taking these values to the next level with some big changes!
In 2023, our market will be changing names to the Mill Town Farmers Market and is now a nonprofit organization! This years market season will be from May 25th -October 26th, 2023, and will be located at Sorrells Street Park- just down the road from last year’s location.
We are endlessly grateful for the Smathers Family for getting our market off the ground, to the Town of Canton for allowing us to grow, and to our amazing community for supporting us along the way.
