Lake Junaluska, No Fireworks, Family Friendly Activity Weekend

Lake Junaluska -- Update: Due to COVID-19 health concerns and rising infection rates in North Carolina, Lake Junaluska's fireworks display has been postponed to later in 2020 to a date to be determined,

and the annual Independence Day parade, concerts in Stuart Auditorium, and community picnic and square dance will not be held. Instead, Lake Junaluska will host family-friendly activities that allow for social distancing throughout the Fourth of July weekend as part of the Summer Activities Program.  Independence Day Celebrations
July 3-5, 2020

Celebrate Independence Day weekend at Lake Junaluska! We are excited to offer a special BBQ picnic lunch to-go, a Fourth of July Closest to the Pin Contest at the Lake Junaluska Golf Course, and a full schedule of family-friendly activities through the Summer Activities Program. We also invite you to soak up summer with time at our lakeside swimming pool, a round of mini golf, a cruise on the Cherokee IV pontoon boat, or a canoe, kayak or paddleboard rental.
