RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina groceries and other retailers must meet capacity restrictions and cleanliness standards if they want to keep operating next week under expanding social distance directives to blunt COVID-19, Gov. Roy Cooper announced on Thursday.

Asheville -- City of Asheville: In a coordinated effort, the City of Asheville, Buncombe County, Homeward Bound and numerous community partners organized a resource for individuals without homes at Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville.

The Visitor Center has compiled a list of local restaurants that are offering carry-out food service, due to the concerns of the Coronavirus. All bars and restaurants in North Carolina must limit operations to take-out and delivery only starting on March 17, as per an executive order from Governor Roy Cooper.
