Two Face Drug Charges in Franklin

Franklin NC -- On Wednesday January 22, 2025 at approximately 11:50 AM, during routine patrol, FPD Officers observed drug activity at

a local business. Further investigation

with the assistance of Macon County - NC Sheriff's Office, lead to the discovery of approximately 49 grams of cocaine, 21 syringes containing liquid morphine, one handgun, drug paraphernalia, and other prescription pills.

Kathryn Lauran Kuhn, age 32, of Franklin was found to be in possession of the evidence mentioned. Additional charges are pending.

A male individual will also have charges related to this case pending further investigation.
Kuhn was charged with:
- Trafficking cocaine
- Conspire to traffic cocaine
- Maintain a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances
- Possession of schedule II controlled substance (morphine)
Kuhn's bond was set at $120,000 secured.
