URGENT: As Many of you may have heard, there is a massive seizure going on right now in Montgomery and Candler counties at the two locations of a suspected GSD puppy mill owner. There are an estimated 250-300 dogs between both locations. Top priority is getting them off both properties. We will be travelling to to the Candler county location in the next day or two. We will post more information this evening when we get an update, but monetary donations are an urgent need right now. We have boarding spaces reserved if needed, and have transport to other rescues that have partnered with this case up north on standby. Any amount you can give will help! https://caninepetrescue.networkforgood.com/projects/66701-urgent-donations-needed-for-south-ga-puppy-mill-neglect-case?

Hi everyone, here’s an update on the South Georgia dogs. We are caravanning down with many volunteers tomorrow to pick up as many as we can take. Thanks to all who have already donated and brought items to the jail or the farm today. Here’s what we need now and if you order from Amazon, please do smile.amazon.com and designate CPR as the charity because we will get a donation too. Items can be dropped off at the Gwinnett County Jail or at The Bondsman in Lawrenceville tomorrow-584 Buford Drive.

Food: We use Salmon and sweet potato because it’s low allergen and these dogs will need the fish. If you have a Costco membership, it’s called Natures Domain and is in the blue bag. No Costco membership, no problem! Blue Buffalo Wliderness is also a great one.

Supplements: Fish oil and Glucosamine. Fish oil can be pills 1000-1200 mg or liquid. Glucosamine- Glycoflex Plus by Vetriscience. We are being specific about supplements and food because we expect health issues and immunity compromises.

Martingale collars-again, a specific type we use for the GSDs. We need small and medium as well as large.

Toys-black Kongs, antlers, black rubber balls and jolly balls.

Leashes. Dual handle leashes are greatly appreciated! Paws Lifestyles heavy duty two handled leashes are $13.95 each on Amazon. Any heavy canvas or leather leash with a metal clip will work.

We need money. We will have to buy heartworm meds and flea/tick meds (we get them from our vet), spay and neuter, and so many other things, so if you don’t want to donate goods, please give money at: caninepetrescue.networkforgood.com

Finally, we need fosters and adopters. For every foster, we can bring one more dog home tomorrow. Please consider fostering if you can. If you are already approved as a foster or adopter for CPR, you can pick up a dog as early as tomorrow. Please let us know ASAP.

We don’t need any more crates. Thanks again to all who donated crates today.

Thank you all so much. Please share!
