Henderson County -- November 4, 2024: Henderson County Government News: Did you know the Henderson County Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) can help connect you with a variety of resources:

FEMA, Small Business Association (SBA), NC Emergency Management, NC Works, NC Employment Security Commission (disaster unemployment applications), Blue Ridge Community College, Pisgah Legal Services, United Way, Council on Aging, Hope Coalition, Smart Start, Safelight, True Ridge, El Centro, and more! It is open daily at 2111 Asheville Highway, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The DRC will provide federal, state, and local resources for county residents as they apply for FEMA assistance from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

The DRC is a one-stop shop for residents to meet with the following organizations for help and assistance.
