Closure I-26 East Due to Severe Multi-Vehicle Accident

Henderson County -- September 18, 2024: Henderson County Sheriff's Office: Traffic Alert: A severe multi-vehicle

accident has occurred on the Green River Bridge, resulting in the shutdown of I-26 Eastbound at Exit 54. Traffic is being diverted onto the 25 Connector. 

The interstate will be shut down for an extended period of time today and drivers should plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Stay safe!
