Morganton Man Charged with Statutory Rape

McDowell County -- September 13, 2024: A Morganton man faces multiple charges by McDowell County Sheriff's Office. 

On August 19th, Detective Brown received a report of possible sexual abuse of a minor. Her investigation uncovered  Noah Harris and a 14-year-old minor were involved in an inappropriate relationship.

Noah Andrew Harris is charged with the following:

felony Statutory Rape, felony Indecent Liberties with a Child, felony Third Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and felony Second Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. He received no bond.
