ATV Accident Claims the Lives of Two Rosman High School Students

Rosman -- August 27, 2024: On Sunday, August 25, 2024, the Rosman community was struck by tragedy when two b juniors, Layne Jones and Jayden Reynaldo, lost their lives in an ATV accident.

The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in Balsam Grove, North Carolina, when the ATV they were riding veered off Old Wagon Road and struck a tree, ejecting both students from the vehicle.

Layne and Jayden were not only classmates but also teammates. The loss of these two young lives is felt profoundly by their families, friends, and everyone who knew them.

In response to this heartbreaking event, the community is rallying together to support the families of Layne and Jayden. Fundraising efforts are already underway to help the families.
