Drug Arrest in Mitchell County

Mitchell County -- August 22, 2024: Mitchell County Detectives were investigating a report of a stolen moped on August 21, 2024.

During the course of the investigation, Adam Michael Stewart’s name came up. When officers went to speak to Stewart, it resulted in the following charges.

Possess Methamphetamine
Possess Drug Paraphernalia

Court Date: 9-4-24

Bond: bond will be set later today due to release from custody on a prior charge and that charge not being dealt with in court as of this time. This is the new integrity bond for North Carolina. His bond will be set by a judge.
