Rutherford County -- July 8, 2024: The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division requested the

public's assistance in identifying a subject who had broken into a residence and was caught on the homeowner's camera.

Later on 07/02/2024 a suspect was developed and identified and the Criminal Investigation Division, Narcotics Division, A.C.E. Team, and Road Patrol Division executed a search warrant at a residence near where the original incident occurred. Items from the breaking and entering, narcotics, and two firearms were discovered in the home during the search warrant.

As a result Jason Millwood was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Preparation to Commit Burglary, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Break and Enter Motor Vehicle (x2), Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Simple Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Larceny, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A District Court Judge will set Millwood's bond.
