Buncombe County Man Arrested: Sex with Underage Student

Buncombe County -- June 7, 2024: News Release Buncombe County Sheriff's Office: Detectives with the Major Case Unit of

the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Samuel Jason Ingle, age 52, of Buncombe County, and charged him with Sexual Activity with a Student. Mr. Ingle was placed at the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $10,000.00 secured bond.

Detectives with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit work diligently to address these crimes against persons, protect the residents of Buncombe County, and seek justice for survivors of sexual assault.
