McDowell County Sheriff's Charge Arrest Man for Shooting into Home

Mcdowell County -- May 29, 2024: McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 43-year-old Charles Roland Thomas

with felonious Discharging a Weapon into an Occupied Property. Thomas was issued a $25,000 secured bond.

On May 18th, deputies responded to a Marion residence for a report of shots fired into a residence. Upon arrival, deputies observed a single bullet hole leading into the residence. Evidence in the investigation allowed detectives to identify the suspect as Thomas.
