Asheville -- May 22, 2024: Asheville Police are investigating a shooting that took place late Tuesday night, leaving one

man with non-life-threatening injuries.

APD Patrol officers responded to the Pisgah View apartment complex on Granada Street around 11:32 p.m. on May 21 to investigate reports of gun discharge. Shortly after arriving, officers learned of a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle arriving at Mission Hospital. While canvassing the area, officers located 14 shell casings and six vehicles that had been damaged by bullets.
