Asheville Police Arrest Two on Drug Trafficking Charges
Asheville -- May 10, 2024: Press Release: Asheville Police Department officers arrest two on drug trafficking charges
Wednesday evening in west Asheville.
While conducting proactive enforcement in the area of Haywood Road around 7:27 p.m. on May 9th officers encountered a vehicle bearing fictitious tags. During the traffic stop the occupants were found to be in possession of a trafficking amount of fentanyl. Both the driver Megan Grace Ward Stackable (07/27/1999) and the passenger Dustin Ray Norton (03/08/97), were taken into custody without incident.

Norton was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $40,000 (or $4,000 to a bondsman) secured bond issued by a magistrate.

Stackable was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $20,000 (or $2,000 to a bondsman) secured bond issued by a magistrate.
