LENOIR COUNTY -- The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in regards to locating a wanted person from the incident that occurred at North Lenoir High School this past weekend.

LENOIR COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

The investigation began on Saturday after deputies responded to a larceny of an ATV from North Lenoir High School. That investigation then included locating a suspected bomb in a vehicle, NCSBI bomb squad response and the lock down of North Lenoir High School to allow law enforcement to conduct an intensive search of the campus for other explosive devices.

That suspect is Joshua Lynn Morris of Greene County. Morris is suspected of committing the crimes that caused the large investigation and incident surrounding North Lenoir High School in Kinston this past weekend. Detectives have obtained warrants against Morris for the following charges:
• Felony Larceny after breaking/Entering
• Felony Possession stolen Goods/property
• Felony Attempted Breaking or enter building
• Felony larceny
• Felony Possession of stolen property
• Felony Break or Enter a Motor Vehicle
• Misdemeanor Larceny
• Misdemeanor Possession of stolen goods
