Buncombe County -- November 21, 2023: Buncombe County Sheriff's Office News Release: November 16, 2023 - Brent Anthony Holland, was taken into custody in the Cookeville Tennessee area.

Holland was arrested for an incident that took place in Cookeville. Holland has also been identified as the suspect in the Armed Robbery that occurred at the Quality Plus gas station in Buncombe County on November 11.

Holland has a robbery with a dangerous weapon warrant for his arrest in Buncombe County. Investigators from multiple agencies have worked together to locate Holland and safely take him into custody.
The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the following agencies for their great teamwork in apprehending the suspect: US Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force, Nashville/Knoxville US Marshals, Cookeville Police Department, Johnson City Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, and the Asheville Police Department. Investigators would also like to thank community members who have provided tips.
