Two People Arrested After Traffic Stop

McDowell County -- September 25, 2023: The McDowell County Sheriff's Office filed a felonious possession of methamphetamine complaint against Jeremiah Forster Cable, 37.

A $20,000 security bond was given to Cable.

Additionally, 47-year-old Tosha Lauren Ward was charged with felonious possession of methamphetamine by Deputy Tilson. A $10,000 security bail was given to Ward.

On September 20, NC Wildlife Resources Commission officers contacted McDowell County Sheriff's Office deputies reporting a traffic stop. Methamphetamine was discovered during a car search.
