Rutherford County -- August 13, 2023: Detectives from the Forest City Police Dept received information about
the location of many stolen firearms August 8th, 2023.

Detectives obtained a search warrant after conferring with the Rutherford County District Attorney's Office. Two people were seen in the driveway upon arrival Priscilla Hines, the female, resisted officers and was discovered to be concealing evidence. Both individuals were apprehended on the spot. After serving the original search warrant, police requested for a second search warrant based on the things discovered. 

Detectives discovered the following during the second search:

- 2 pounds and 10 ounces of marijuana
- 16 firearms (6 rifles and 10 pistols) 9 of which were stolen from outside jurisdictions.
- 22.37 grams of yellow fentanyl pills.
- 11.74 grams of white powder (suspected fentanyl).
- 112 grams of blue fentanyl pills.
- 27 grams of marijuana were found on the female suspect (HINES).
- $480.00 US Currency.
- (1) Glock handgun with a “selector switch” rendering same fully automatic.
- Assorted magazines for multiple firearms.
- Assorted rounds of ammunition.

This is currently an ongoing investigation and charges are pending for multiple subjects. Priscilla Hines was arrested on scene for resisting/hinder/delay. Forest City PD would like to thank the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and the Forest City Fire Department for their assistance.
