Man Charged with Child Sex Crimes in Asheville

Asheville -- June 12, 2023: Asheville Police announced the arrest of a man, charging him with a number of offenses against two minors.

 Both Asheville Police Department Detectives and Family Justice Center arrest came after an extensive investigation, charging a man with a number of offenses against two minors.

Brendan Christopher Poole of Florida by way of Etowah, has been charged with the following:
-First Degree Kidnapping x2
-Indecent Liberties with a Child x2
-Abduction of Children x2
-Assault by Strangulation x2
-Attempted Second Degree Forcible Sex Offense
Poole was booked into the Buncombe County Jail on June 7 and is being held on a $1,000,000 bond (or $100,000 to a bondsman) issued by the magistrate.
