" Dear friends, family, and Asheville community,
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the death of Hannah Walker. Hannah was a dedicated friend, partner, and mother. Hannah is survived by her fiance, Asheville Police Officer Joey McKee, their two children; Penny (5 weeks old) and Noah (5 Years old), and her mother, Jeanna.
As you can imagine, the unexpected death of Hannah has left the McKee family with a tremendous sense of loss and sadness. In addition, comes the reality of new financial burdens and obligations that no one is ever prepared for when a tragedy occurs. That is why I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you’ll show your support.
Hannah was a devoted full-time stay-at-home mom. Joey, while grieving, now carries with him the overwhelming responsibility of being the sole provider for his family.
Please join us in raising support for the immediate needs and long-term care of Joey and their children."
