McDowell County Sheriffs Arrest Marion Man on Sexual Child Abuse Charges

McDowell Coutny -- April 24, 2023: The McDowell County Sheriff's Office filed three felonious

Statutory Sexual Offenses with a Child by an Adult charges against Marion resident David Leroy Mitchell, 64. A secured bond for $600,000 was given to Mitchell.

Deputies were called to a Marion home on March 28th for the possible sexual assault of an underage female. An investigation led to the abuse charges against Mitchell.
