U.S. Shoots Down Chinese Air Balloon

News -- February 4, 2023After traveling over important military locations in North America,

a suspected Chinese spy balloon was shot down by the US on Saturday off the coast of Carolina. This comes as tensions between Washington and Beijing continue to rise.

President Joe Biden had said earlier Saturday, "We're going to take care of it," when speaking with reporters.

The balloon, which was estimated to be roughly the size of three school buses and had been flying at a height of about 60,000 feet, had debris that was being recovered in U.S. territorial seas.
The balloon descended toward the water after a tiny explosion, as seen on television.
