different locations,

authorities are warning travelers to be on the watch.

According to the Forest City Police Department, the Department of Agriculture discovered the initial razor blades during a routine inspection, which sparked a search of further pumps and stations.

Blades were discovered at the BP on South Broadway Street and the Shell at the 74 Junction, according to Forest City officials.

Additionally, numerous county gas stations contained the blades.

"We are actively investigating these instances now in cooperation with the state Department of Agriculture and will follow up with more information when available,” the Forest City Police Department said in a statement. “In the meantime, please be aware of your surroundings while pumping gas and always check before grabbing the gas pump handle.”
