Husband Kills Wife, Children, Himself in Highpoint NC

On January 7, 2023, there was a murder-suicide at a residence in the 2700 block of Mossy Meadow Drive, three adults and two children died.
Investigators found Robert J. Crayton, Jr. (B/M, 45) shot and killed

his wife and three children. Self-inflicted gunshot killed him.
Athalia A. Crayton (46) Kasin Crayton (18) Juvenile 1 (16) Juvenile 2 (16) (10)
All of the victims lived in the home.

Two other people inside th home escaped.

This address has been visited five times by High Point police since 2014. Officers served an involuntary mental commitment order on January 3, 2022, before this weekend's incident.
The motivation is under investigation. No further details will be provided at this time.
