Hickory Police Search for Suspects in Deadly Shooting

Hickory -- March 26, 2022: On Sunday, March 20th at approximately 10:47pm, officers with the 

Hickory Police Department responded to Sunny Valley Apartments after hearing multiple gunshots fired in the area.
When they arrived, they found a man—later identified as Ontorio Nymier Metts, 23—suffering from multiple gunshot
wounds in the apartment complex's common area.

According to a news release, Metts was pronounced dead at the scene

Investigators are currently searching for any suspects involved in this homicide and request that anyone with
