Deputy Charged with Crimes, Employment Terminated by Sheriff Miller

(July 23, 2021) –

Deputy Matthew Lund of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office has been charged with four counts of misdemeanor Child Abuse and four counts of Contributing to the Deliquency of a Minor on July 23rd.

Sheriff Quentin Miller has terminated Deputy Lund’s employment with the Sheriff’s Office effective immediately.
