On July 3, 2019 the Hendersonville Police Department responded to a report of a shooting that occurred on Brooklyn Avenue in Hendersonville.

During the altercation an individual was shot and was later pronounced dead at Mission Hospital.

The investigation is ongoing and is believed to be an isolated incident with no threat to the public.

Detectives continue to follow up on investigative leads and no other information is being released at this time. The public is asked to contact the Hendersonville Police Department at (828)-697-3025 with any information regarding the incident.
