Man Charged in Catawba County Mass Shooting

Catawba County --  A Lenior man has been arrested In connection with the mass shooting on Walnut Acres Drive.  Garon Nathaniel Killian, 20,   is charged with a single (1) count of attempted first-degree murder.

Killian is being held at the Newton Detention Facility without bond and is scheduled to appear in Catawba County District Court for the first time. 

Several search warrants were carried out by law enforcement on Tuesday as part of the continuing investigation.  More people are expected to be arrested, according to the Catawba County Sheriff's Office.
