McDowell County --  McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 48-year-old David Jonathan Perry of Mooresboro with felony possession of synthetic cannabinoid. 

He was issued a secured bond of $2,500.

Mary Elizabeth Keeter, 42, of Rutherfordton with felony possession of methamphetamine. She was issued a secured bond of $2,500 as well. 
On May 17, Deputy Guzman initiated a traffic stop on a Ford Explorer on Parker Padgett Road for a traffic violation.

A search of the vehicle by deputies turned up a suspected amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, a container with marijuana roaches, and two containers of synthetic cannabinoid wax.

Editor's Note: A  criminal charge is an accusation, by law, a person accused of a crime is innocent until proven in a court of law.
