Newland Man Faces Mulitple Charges in Boone

Boone --  Boone Police Patrol officers found a stolen Ford sport utility vehicle on Blowing Rock Road on Sunday, May 25, 2025.   The driver fled on foot after the car was halted in the Applebee's parking lot.  

Wyatt Lane Clark, 27, of Newland, was arrested following a foot pursuit. He was charged with Felony Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Financial Card Theft, Misdemeanor Possession of Schedule III Narcotics, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Driving While License Revoked and Misdemeanor Resisting an Officer.  Clark was issued a court date of June 30, 2025, and placed in the custody of the Watauga County Detention Center without bond.
