Credit Card Theft Investigation Leads to Arrest of Four People

Buncombe Couty --  On May 13, the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office started an investigation into a credit card theft in the Arden region.  The BCSO Crime Scene Unit assisted in identifying Darius Holloway as a potential suspect.  

Detectives concluded after more research that Luis Arce and Kimberly Williams were using the credit cards that had been stolen in order to conspire with Holloway.

On May 15, Williams' residence in Candler was the subject of a search warrant, which led to the confiscation of stolen goods.  After conducting interviews and finding evidence linked to the credit card theft, detectives were able to locate more pieces of evidence at a different site.

Two prior shooting investigations had identified Darius Holloway and Delany Jo Spradlin.  Holloway and Spradlin were charged by detectives with both of the events that took place in the Candler area on April 21 and May 10.  The shootings did not injure anyone.

Arrested:

Kimberly Williams – Charged with Felony Conspiracy, Credit Card Fraud, Possession of Stolen
Property.

Luis Daniel Arce – Charged with Felony Conspiracy, Credit Card Fraud, Possession of Stolen
Property

Delany Jo Spradlin – Charged with two counts Felony Conspiracy, Aid and Abet First Degree
Arson, Aid and Abet Discharge Firearm into Occupied Dwelling, Aid and Abet Assault with
Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill

Darius Deandre Lee Holloway – Charged with three counts Felony Conspiracy, First Degree
Arson, Discharge Firearm into Occupied Dwelling, Assault with Deadly Weapon with Intent to
Kill, Possession of Stolen Goods, and Felony Larceny
