Haywood County Meals on Wheels Receives Generous Donation from Longtime Volunteer

Haywood County --  Press Release Haywood County Government: At the May 19th, 2025 meeting of the Haywood County Board of Commissioners, a presentation was made recognizing a generous donation from the late Linda S. Robinson, a Haywood County native and former Meals on Wheels volunteer of over 30 years. 

Linda gave $224,933.81 to Haywood County Meals on Wheels. This will directly support the program’s mission: to provide nutritious meals, friendly visits, and safety checks that enable homebound seniors to live nourished lives with independence and dignity while remaining in their home. 
We are deeply grateful for Linda’s enduring commitment to service and the impact this contribution will have on our community.
