Yancey County:  Press Release Yancey County Sheriff's Office: Western North Carolina residents will have access to free healthcare services as

the Campbell University Mobile

Health Clinic makes its way to local fire departments from March 10–13. In partnership with the Benedix Foundation, World Central Kitchen, Crossing All Borders Ministry, and North Carolina Disaster Relief - RDU, this initiative aims to provide essential medical care and community support to those in need.

Free On-Site Medical Services
The Campbell University Mobile Health Clinic will offer:

• Primary care physicals
• First aid
• Vision screenings, prescription readers, and glasses
• Pharmacy counseling and prescription fulfillment
• OMM table for back adjustments
The clinic will serve 50–75 patients daily, time permitting. Residents must present a valid ID on the day of service and live within the local fire department’s community to receive care. Upon arrival, patients will sign in and receive a ticket covering the medical services provided (one per family).
Food and Community Support Services
In addition to medical care, several organizations will provide essential services:
• The Benedix Foundation will offer coffee, water, and snacks from 9:00–11:00 a.m.
• World Central Kitchen will serve free lunch from 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• Crossing All Borders Ministry will distribute hygiene kits through their Women’s Ministry.
• North Carolina Disaster Relief - RDU will provide coats and linens for those in need.

• Monday, March 10 – Newdale Fire Department, 98 Riverwalk Drive, Burnsville, NC 28714
• Tuesday, March 11 – West Yancey Fire Department, 6557 US-19N, Burnsville, NC 28714
• Wednesday, March 12 – South Toe Fire Department, 5455 NC-80, Burnsville, NC 28714
• Thursday, March 13 – Clearmont Fire Department, 4150 NC-197, Green Mountain, NC 28714

This initiative is open to all local residents, ensuring that individuals and families receive critical medical care and support services free of charge
