Biltmore House Reopens With Changes in Place
Biltmore House Reopen With Changes in Place Health and Safety Updates
Opening our 8,000-Acre Estate on a Limited Basis Starting May 9
In accordance with state and local government reopening guidelines, Biltmore will open the estate’s park spaces—our glorious gardens and grounds with more than 20 miles of walking, hiking, and biking trails—beginning Saturday, May 9.
With consideration for county mandates regarding social distancing and mass gatherings, we are opening exclusively for Biltmore Annual Passholders who reside in Western North Carolina on an advanced reservations-only basis.
We will expand the opening of additional guest experiences in alignment with state and local guidelines. We look forward to welcoming more guests to the estate at that time. Please continue to consult this page for updates.
The Safety of Our Guests & Staff is Our Top Priority
The well-being of our guests and employees is our top priority. To that end, we are doing the following:
Limiting daily capacity and hours of entry to the estate
Ensuring employees are informed, receiving health screenings, and following CDC & OSHA guidelines for working during COVID-19
Requiring masks and gloves for our employees in guest areas
Continuing to align our already stringent cleaning procedures with the latest guidance from the CDC, and implementing them with increased frequency
Providing hand sanitizer stations at convenient locations for guest and employee use
Adopting a cashless payment protocol whereby we accept credit, debit, and Biltmore Gift Cards only during this time
Providing clear and frequent reminders to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and personal hygiene via signage throughout the estate
Monitoring guest areas to encourage social distancing and reduce group gatherings in accordance with government mandates
