John Lennon vocalized his messages of peace and brotherly love, infused with the fusion of rock, jazz and the blues.
His music is inspired by the artists he grew up with – Buddy Holly, Little Richard, James Brown, and Elvis Presley.
On this day, stop and remember the greatness of this spirit who touched and changed the lives of many.
Let's hope the spirit of love and brotherly peace can soar and live on.
Hopefully, the world he dreamed of will become a reality. In his own words from "Imagine":
"Imagine all the people livin' life in peace,
You may say I'm a dreamer/but I'm not the only one/I hope someday you'll join us/and the world will be as one."
"The death of a loved one is a hollowing experience.
After 40 years, Sean, Julian and I still miss him.
