Juvenile Shot and Killed in Robbery & Home Invasion

Asheville -- September 24, 2024: APD officers arrived at a residence on Allen Avenue at around 5:44 p.m. on Monday in

response to a report of a gunshot wound.

They discovered a male with a gunshot wound. He was conveyed to Mission Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. His identity is being concealed due to his juvenile status.

Currently, investigators suspect this incident may have been a botched house invasion and robbery.
