Back to School Vaccine Clinics to be Held Aug. 27-29 Henderson County
Henderson County -- August 9, 2024: Henderson County Government Press Release: The Henderson County Department of
Public Health will offer a series of evening vaccine clinics to help school-aged children get caught up with required immunizations.
The clinics are open for all students ages 5-18. All vaccines required for public school in North Carolina will be offered, such as DTap and Meningitis.
Dates: August 27, 28 and 29
Time: 4 to 7 p.m.
Location: Henderson County Department of Public Health, 1200 Spartanburg Highway, Suite 100, Hendersonville. Please use immunizations entrance.
No appointments are needed. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
What to bring
Insurance or Medicaid cards (if you have them)
Child’s vaccination records (not required if past vaccines were given in North Carolina)
The Health Department accepts the following insurance plans: Blue Cross Blue Shield, MedCost, United Health, Aetna, Cresent and Medicaid. Please note if your insurance is out of network, you may need to pay out of pocket.
If you do not have insurance or are underinsured, your child can still receive routine childhood vaccines at no charge through the Vaccines for Children Program.
