Three People Face Drug Charges in Jackson County

Jackson County -- June 6, 2024: The vicinity of Camp Creek and Hyatt Chapel Baptist Church was

patrolled by deputies on June 02, 2024. A license check was being carried out by deputies nearby. A white Chrysler 300 with an unlicensed driver was pulled over by deputies. Upon observing peculiar conduct and drug-related items clearly visible.

The following subjects were charged:

Edna Hornbuckle:
Trafficking Opium
PWISD Schedule II
Maintain vehicle/place for controlled substance
Conspiracy to Traffic Opium
Possession CS on Jail Premise
Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tansi Young:
Trafficking in Opium
Conspiracy to Traffic Opium
Possession drug paraphernalia
Resist Public Officer/ giving false name
Driving while license revoked
Possession of Schedule II

Mitchell Ledford:
Conspiracy to Traffic Opium
Possession drug paraphernalia
